Özet

Nazım Hikmet, one of the most prominent figures in modern Turkish poetry, occupies a distinguished position not only within Turkish literature but also across the broader Turkic world. His recognition among Turkic peoples, particularly in Yakutia (the Sakha Republic) in northeastern Siberia, has been significantly shaped by the translation of his poetry into Russian, his participation in literary gatherings, and his personal interactions with intellectuals from various Turkic nations. Within the corpus of Yakut literature, his legacy is preserved through a variety of mediums: memoirs, newspaper articles, Russian translations of his poems, poetic dedications, and original works composed under his influence. This study aims to examine the literary and cultural memory of Nazım Hikmet as reflected in Yakut literature, with a specific focus on personal recollections and dialogues that illuminate both the intellectual reception of his work and the transnational resonance of his ideas within the Turkic world.
