Özet
There is still no consensus on the evaluation and treatment options for patellofemoral joint pathologies. This is thought to be due to the independent and multidirectional movement of the patella during knee flexion and extension, the fact that the quadriceps femoris is one of the last muscles to develop both phylogenetically and in the womb, and the fact that the slightest deviation/disorder in the alignment of the lower extremities from the foot to the pelvis directly affects the patellofemoral joint. In this chapter, nonsurgical rehabilitation approaches for patellofemoral pain and patellar instability will be discussed.
