MESLEKLER ARASI EĞİTİME GENÇ BAKIŞ: SİMÜLASYON UYGULAMASINA YÖNELİK ÖĞRENCİ GÖRÜŞLERİ

Objective: In this study, we aimed to bring together the pharmacy and pharmacy technician students via interprofessional simulation practices, to know each other and to discover their opinions about this practice. Material and Method: Standardized patient encounters were conducted by the participation of 27 pharmacy and 51 pharmacy technician students within this study. Thereafter, the written feedback of the students was obtained, and the qualitative findings were analysed with MaxQDA v11. Result and Discussion: As a result, four main themes entitled as "Interaction in the pharmacy", "Task sharing", "Educational outputs" and "Physical facilities" emerged. In this research study, which has overlapping findings with similar studies in pharmacy field, we determined that the evaluations of the students are important for establishing strong basis on interprofessional collaboration. However, we believe that updating the undergraduate curriculum in the light of our study results will affect future professional practices in a positive manner.
