Özet

Complete labyrinthine aplasia (CLA) is the absence of the cochlea, vestibule, semicircular canals, vestibular, and cochlear aqueducts and is also known as Michel deformity. There are three radiological subtypes. Due to absence of cochlea, CLA is a definite indication for auditory brainstem implantation. In this chapter, radiological, audiological features, and surgical considerations of CLA along with case presentations are provided.
