Özet

Neuropathic pain represents a significant clinical challenge due to its complex etiology and limited treatment options. Traditional pharmacological approaches, particularly opioid therapy, are associated with significant side effects and risk of abuse, highlighting the urgent need for alternative strategies. In recent years, nonpharmacological interventions such as acupuncture and electroacupuncture have gained attention for their potential efficacy in managing neuropathic pain. Further research combining nonpharmacological interventions with targeting signaling pathways could lead to the development of innovative strategies for the management of neuropathic pain and improve the quality of life for patients suffering from this debilitating condition.
