Abstract
This is a study of new hexachlorocyclotriphosphazene (N3P3Cl6) derivatives bearing ethyl p-hydroxybenzoate and ferrocenyl pendant groups. Characterizations of the products [mono-2, di-(geminal 3a; non-geminal transa-3b, transb-3c and cis-3d), tri-4 and tetra-5 substituted phosphazene derivatives] were performed using elemental analysis and spectral methods. The structures of the two compounds (2 and 5) were explained by the use of X-ray diffraction techniques.
