Abstract

Sofyali Bâlî Efendi who was known as the annotater of Fususi'l-Hikem - by using the asylum of Elkas Mirza who was one of the princes of Safevids to Ottomans- expressed his opinions about the history of Safevids and their perception of religion ,identified them as Rafizi and stressed that Shah Esmail himself and his rulership was illegal. The letter suggests that any collaboration should not be made with Safevids and also this letter is of great importance as it reflects the viewpoint of Otoman Mystics about the Safevids.
