Abstract

This report of Diplectanum aequans (Wagener,1857) (Platyhelminthes, Diplectanidae) was presented for the first time from the gills of Dicentrarchus labrax (Linnaeus, 1758) (Perciformes, Moronidae) cultured in the Black Sea of Turkey (Vona Koyu, Ordu, 41 degrees 05' 02 '' N; 37 degrees 47' 04 '' E). Diplectanum aequans was recorded with a prevalence of 100% and 3.45 the mean intensity on host.
