Abstract
A new generalization of the log-logistic family is studied with one extra shape parameter. The location-scale regression model of a new family defined for the Weibull distribution is introduced. The unknown parameters of the proposed models are estimated by the maximum likelihood estimation method and its performance is discussed using avia comprehensive simulation study. Four data sets are analysed by the proposed models and compared with the recently introduced models.
