Abstract

Molecules of the title compound [1-(2-bromo-4-methylphenyliminomethyl)-2-naphthol, C₁₈H₁₄BrNO] are not exactly planar. Each contains a strong intramolecular N⋯-H-O hydrogen bond between the amino and hydroxyl groups [2.553 (4) Å].
