Abstract
A clear knowledge of etiopathogenesis in mycosis fungoides (MF) is essential in formulating a therapeutic policy. Alpha interferon has been found to be an effective therapeutic agent in the treatment of MF particularly in early stages. Much remains to be learned about the role of immunologic response modifiers in advanced disease. Here, we present a case with tumor stage MF who gave a dramatic response to daily interferon and weekly methotrexate therapy. Electron beam therapy has been utilised for local control and a remission of 15 months was achieved. Our aim is to discuss the therapeutic approach to the patients with tumor stage MF.
