Abstract

The low efficiency of GPS technology in indoor environments enables the development of wireless media technologies such as WLAN, RFID, UWB and BLE in these environments. Given the cost and accuracy of these systems, BLE technology is low in cost and easy to locate in the environment. However, accuracy is lower in server-based systems. In order to solve this problem, the system we propose is based on filtering the data, performing RSSI-distance estimation and estimating the position using WCL algorithm. In the system, positions were obtained with an average error of 0.5 m near the gateway, 2.42 m between the gateways and 2.29 m in the middle of the plan.
