Abstract
The role of gallium-67 scintigraphy in Behçet's uveitis was evaluated. Pattern and quantitative comparisons were made in patients with active Behçet's uveitis, uveitis in remission, and ocular sarcoidosis. There were statistically significant differences between groups. Our data suggest the persistence of inflammatory cells even in remission stages of Behçet's uveitis. In the presence of certain patterns, gallium-67 scintigraphy can make limited contributions in the evaluation of Behçet's disease of sarcoidosis.
