Abstract
Although minor blood group incompatibilities are rare, severe hemolytic reactions requiring exchange transfusion therapy can occur. For this reason, minor blood group incompatibilities should be in the differential diagnosis of hemolytic reactions of unknown cause. In this report, we present a newborn who had hemolytic disease due to maternal anti-E and who required exchange transfusion therapy twice.
