Backscattering of gamma rays from the natural Turkish marbles

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

Backscattering of the gamma radiation from the natural Turkish marbles were measured as a function of the scatterer thickness using the standard gamma sources, such as Na-22, Co-60 and Cs-137. For comparison, each measurement has been repeated for ordinary concrete in place of the Turkish marbles. The results have been expressed graphically. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
