Abstract

The aim of this study is to provide for an example, on the utilization of the Planning Implementation Evaluation (PIE) model concerning an information and communication technologies (ICT) integrated, effective mathematics instruction. In line with this purpose, firstly the PIE model was explained on three bases as; effective mathematics instructions, ICT integration and 5E learning cycle. According to these three bases, a learning environment prepared in the context of design based research for the model development process. Then in this study, a sample lesson plan, prepared for implementing PIE Model, was discussed.
