Abstract
The benzopyran ring system of the flavone in the title compound, C20H16O6, is quasi-planar and makes a dihedral angle of 13.9 (4)° with the 2-phenyl substituent. The dioxane ring deviates from planarity. The structure is stabilized by inter- and intramolecular hydrogen bonds.
